We wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary with a staycation in a hotel and, after some search and discussion, we chose Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi as the venue of our private little event ❤️.
When we arrived at their lobby, we were greeted with Thai’s traditional music, played live by someone in traditional costume. It was delightful and brought us a bit closer to our home country.
Our room was quite spacious. A glass wall separated the bedroom from the bathtub should be perfect for our celebration, if only our little angel didn’t join the fun. But the most pleasant surprise was a cake tart with “Happy Anniversary” written on it. Turned out that hubby secretly called the hotel prior to our stay, asked them if they could provide us anything for our occasion, and they did run that extra miles.
After relaxing for a while, we went upstairs to the pool. They had one adult pool, one jacuzzi, and one baby pool. Obviously we plunged to the baby pool to accompany her enjoying the water. Hubby then found out that the baby pool had bubble nozzle, just like the jacuzzi, so he turned it on, and Deira welcomed the bubbly water with a big laugh.
The rest of the evening went smoothly, as we escaped our daily routine. In the morning, we went downstairs for breakfast at Benjarong, one of their restaurant. Plenty of choices of Thailand dishes really indulged our palates as those South-east asian foods reminded us to Indonesia. Actually, that’s the main reason why we chose Dusit Thani. It because we missed our homeland, and they successfully eased our craving as they presented Asian ambience in their hotel. So for those who want to feel the warmth of Asian smile, you don’t have to go farther than Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi.
